I'm BACK AGAIN
Since I like to my a list of 10 things on my blog, I shall make a list of 10 things that have been happening to me and will be happening to me soon!
1. I got all of my results and surprisingly this semester was the best result of of my whole 3 years. all my 9am-8pm law library effort paid off! so Praise the Lord! I can graduate!
2. I will be graduating this Wednesday 15th December.
3. I will be officially turning 21 this Thursday 16th December! =)
4. I had my awesome pink 21st party everything went well as planned except for the helium gas leaking but thank God for all my friends who helped me to blow up my pink balloons and devin the gun on the ladder taking charge to hang the balloons on the heaters.
5. I am really really in loveeeeeeee with all of my birthday presents- obviously the iphone4 which i am playing 10 hours a day now with Tim taking the other 12, and Bena Hu and friends surprised me with 21 pink birthday presents! it was too sweet! Some gun also gave me an I-tunes gift card which I thought wasn't sincere at first until I found out how good it is to buy iphone apps without needing to use my own credit card... and so I bought 2 more itunes card for my own christmas present...but that doesnt make sense because i'm still using my own money.
6. I went to mornington today with Andrew and Co and will be going to mornington again on sunday with Bena! Actually it's not really mornington but even further at cape schanck! Cape Schanck Resort looked so pro and awesome so just booked a night to stay there on Sunday! It's a surprise for Bena though so dont tell her my readers, if there are any.
7. I realised that my boyfriend is gay so I'm not sure what to do about that.
but i guess i can't blame him either.
8. MY AUSTRALIAN PASSPORT APPLICATION HAS FINALLY BEEN APPROVED AFTER 9 TIMES OF GOING TO THE PASSPORT OFFICE AND POST OFFICE!
9. Last week we had a really good study on Romans 12 and we all made up a list of things that we would do for the week. Mine was based on Romans 12:9-21, especially:
v9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good.
v14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them.
have been trying hard but definitely realised can't do it with my own strength but God's. need to keep praying!
10. I will be leaving for Paris and London and my hometown Hong Kong in 12 days time! I AM REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO GO TO LONDON AND PARIS! To be honest, less excited for the holiday but more excited to see you Neil and Amy!!!
That is all! Go look at pictures on facebook!

SOY CHAI LATTE- worst drink I've tasted
But out of the blues today, I decided to take a break from studying and walked to 7 seeds for a "drink". Usually, I would order either normal latte with heaps of sugar, or just hot chocolate. But Tim told me last week to try out " Soy Chai Latte' because it apparently is a "girl's drink". So I decided to give it a try and I REALLY REALLY REALLY HATED IT.
It wasn't those kinda feeling where you drink and you say YUCK! It wasn't also those feeling that you drink and you say "OMGOSH EWWWW YUCK #@!$@)@##!!!", it was the drink that you would drink and srunch up your face like nick cheng's x 1000 times saying :'EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW YUCK EWWWWWWWWWW YUCK WHAT IS THIS EWWW OMGOSH I WANNA VOMIT EWWWWWW I"M HAVING A HEADACHE NOW"
+
really disgusting smell
+
really disgusting after taste
+
it makes me feel like vomiting.
5 hours later-> I can still taste the chai.
10 hours later-> I still feel like vomiting.
15 hours later-> I can still dream about the smell and taste.
There really is NO way I could describe this drink to you because it is really not tolerable. I dont think I'd drink it eventhough there's no water left in the world but chai latte. okay maybe i will drink it but..you get what i mean.
Chai Latte= Gross= Don't Try it = Happy.
Btw, dont get me wrong, the soy part wasn't bad at all, it was just the chai that i really hated.
Alright back to memorizing essays!
There are 3 things that I'm looking forward to:
1) Finishing Exams
2) Getting an Iphone.
3) Stop thinking about soy chai latte

Should I get an iphone??
Here are the reasons why I think I should/shouldn't get an iphone now.
SHOULD
- so I can play games, heaps of games on my phone during my holidays.
- so that I can watch chinese shows on my phone all the time.
-because everyone has it.
-because i feel like it.
-my current phone is still working on calls but the sms function plays up on me, the keypad has problems, and my charger does not work properly.
SHOULDN'T
- my cap hasn't finished an buying an iphone 4 means I have to buy it upfront!
-Iphone changes every year, it's like the iphone 3Gs, people think it's "so old" but it's not!
-because tim ho will use it more than i do. especially in hong kong he's going to play with it all the time and not come shopping with me.
-if i wait for another 6 more months, my contract will expire, then i will wait for another 2+3 after that months until the iphone 5 comes out and I get it on contract.
Soooo...should i ???

disgusting? wait till you read this.
So today after church lunch at tien dat, a couple of us decided to visit benahu at michel's patisserie to say hi + get cheap cakes. We made a lot of noise around her shop as usual, stood infront of the shop blocking the hallway like we always do, and asking benahu heaps of questions about random cakes. When benahu first saw me in the shop, she was like..."meh..." and said a pretty lazy sounding hi, not until i mentioned I brought a whole bunch of ppl to visit her, and the minute she saw luke in the pram coming in, she shouted HIIIIIIII + waved really fast + smiled really big (I'm sure any of you who knows who benahu is can imagine that now). Anyway, to cut my story short I decided to buy a slice of baked cheesecake and benahu, as nice as she can be charged me only $2 for it. I was so happy with my purchase as I have been craving to eat cheesecake the whole week + it was only $2, good buy.
I went home, here I am now sitting in my toilet bowl, typing this post, getting ready for my bidet to shoot my bum (not the front..who does that) and clean off that loads of light brown stinky diarrhea (yes neil luo this is for you =P you're lucky i didn't take a picture of it). Btw this is my 4th time doing an epic diarrhea and my tummy fully hurts soooooo badly still.
Before I did this diarrhea I was actually about to call benahu and complain about michel's patesserie serving me with unfreshed cheesecake. Not until I went downstairs and picked up the hot chocolate container, suddenly realising that I can't drink milk because I'm lactose intolerant..oh wait...I AM LACTOSE INTOLERANT I FORGOT omgggg -_- and yes that was my reaction.
So it was no one's fault but mine to blame for my bad memory.
Alright time for me to get out from this stinky toilet, oh wait maybe I should wash my hands first.
btw this post is also to apologise to those of you who have used and touched my eee pc netbook before. Clearly, this is not my first time doing this.
Are you looking up the wall thinking about it now? Yes Neil Luo you've even put 10 fingers tightly on it snatching my eee pc away from me. You probably wont even notice the poo since it's camouflaged with your light brown healthy glowing skin.
Cringing now? It's okay Devin Toh you haven't touched my eee pc before that's because you never come to my house. You are still clean. However, I am bad for your life, so, please, go. Go bun, go.
Rolling your eyes now? You know you find me funny Tim Ho. My eee pc is clearly your home ground and you're so used to it. Dont worry you've not only used my eee pc a million times to watch your huskystarcraft but have also held my unwashed poo hands for the last 5 years.
Saying OMG now? Alicia Liew it's okay you've been near to my laptop before when i bring in to investments but dont think you've touched it. However, you did use to pinky hold hands with me since the age of 8. Mind you, habits start early.
Laughing now? Rachel Yong yeah I know Im gross luckily you used my hp laptop that day. Dont worry when I see you I usually wash my hands too.
And that concludes my disgusting post to my 5 most loyal and only readers of my blog.
If you have been my loyal blog reader and have not been mentioned, please leave a comment below to let me know.

gross i know.
looks like it's too late to become a malaysian again.
I've never missed Malaysia so much for a while!
This sound system has a touch screen remote and allows you to listen to any radio stations in the world. For the first 2 hours I was happily listening to various jazz channels but out of curiosity I decided switch and listen to 98.8, a chinese radio channel in Malayisa- used to be my favourite.
Initially, I only wanted to listen to it for the most 5 minutes, as soon as the channel played, I felt like I was in Malayisa. How ironic that the first word the radio lady said was "lam fung" followed by his song. It was then followed by Jay Chou, Nicholas Teo, JJ Lin..all my old school fav artist. In between these songs were heaps of Malayisan ads which I miss heaps. I then end up listening to it for 3 hours straight.
Listening to malaysian radio stations made me think about all the happy moments I had when I used to go back to Malaysia for 2 months.
I miss living in my grandma's apartment.
I miss shopping in IU
I miss shopping in Midvalley
I miss cutting my hair in Malaysia
I miss going to my grandmas house every sat to see my cousins and watch miss chinese int.
I miss eating at hawker centres.
I miss going to dermalogica to do my facials.
I miss my primary school days in Malaysia
I miss taking sticker photos
I miss sitting in Malaysian cars
I miss going to lala cheong.
I miss being a lala.
I miss being a Malaysian.
looks like there's no turning back...UNLESS I do not attend my Australian Citizenship Ceremony..hmmm..

Too much wind?
Ya I know..disgusting right?
Even worse after I'm bo gei (no teeth) on one side now, I have to push all the food to one side and open my mouth bigger to chew to avoid it from getting to the other side.
Another thing that people might not know is that I get a lot of fung in my tummy. Not Lam Fung's Fung, but fung in terms of "wind".
I am fat yes I know but I am often bloated fat. Which means my tummy isn't actually filled with a lot of fats but it is bloated with wind.
Whenever this happens, I get a very very very bad feeling. My tummy feels very unwell and I feel that I can't take in any food. I also feel that I can't sit up because it hurts. Usually the way I cure it is to lie on the bed and start hitting my tummy or apply my mum's "bird oil" until the wind comes out. (yeah how does the wind come out? fart obviously).
EWW you might say, but yeah whatever lol. I have no shame.
Anyway, this has been happening to me since I was quite young and over the last few years it has been happening more and more often. However, I never knew why this happens though. Until that day I decided to ask a very knowledgable doctor (especially with babies) Dr Tim Ho about my weird "fung tummy". Dr Tim Ho suggested to me that the reason why I have lots of wind in my tummy is because I eat with my mouth open and the reason why it happens so often is because I eat a lot.
"The more you eat, the more you open your mouth, the more your chew the wind in to my tummy" he says.
Tim is either right or he's just a gun.
Who is a better doctor to trust other than Dr Andrew Chan's brother in law?
so from now on i shall eat with my mouth closed.
and the world says .... finally!

Introducing José the Bass
I've had my bass guitar, named José for 3 days now and trust me having a bass guitar at home really works for noobs like me who does not have a musical talent (besides my pp) but yet still want to pick up an instrument.
Throughout the last 3 days I've been playing José along with random songs I find on youtube- namely Christian songs. For someoone who has been playing piano her whole life, I feel so different plucking an instrument now instead of pressing on it. hmm.
I never liked music when I played the piano. But now I'm starting to like music when I play the bass.
Let's see how long this "Bass Guitar Phase" will last on me- I'd say- until end of this year =)
Hey my wingchun phase started 3 months ago and I'm still up for more wing chun (which reminds me that I've recently learnt a new move that I need to teach you all)
And no, I did not waste heaps of money on it I bought it cause it was $150 for a bass guitar+amp+case+stand kit! cheap huh!
Btw, José is red in colour. He was initially a guy but turned gay when he arrived my house.

5 Simple steps to a 5 minutes Everyday makeup look
These products are essentially what I have in my pink little make up bag that I carry around. I've tried hundreds of make up products before and the ones below are my favourites to create that clean natural look.
Step 1- Moisturise your face to prep your skin
I have been using Dermalogica Active Moist for years and I really like it because it's hydrating and the texture isn't too oily.
Step 2- Apply a light coat of foundation
There are different type of foundation that could be used. Mineral based, liquid, powder, or cream(stick foundation). I have tried all of these different types of foundation and found liquid to be the most hydrating, mineral to be the least harmful for face, and stick foundation to be the quickest way of application.
I have been using Revlon Photoready Foundation as it not only covers my blemishes well but also gives me that tiny "glow" to my look- in make up terms, we call it a "dewy" look
Might also want to use a concealer to conceal any blemishes and dark eye circles if you have more time.
Step 3- Finish off with a powder to make your foundation last longer
Most powders appear to be either too cakey, dry, or really white so make sure you pick the right type of consistency and colour.
One tip to make your make up look less cakey is also to apply your powder with a big brush, dabbing it in to your skin instead of using those sponges.
I have been using MAC's Mineralise Skin Finish for years now and found it to be the most natural looking powder. I like it cause it doesn't make me look like a giesha.
Step 4- Apply a blush colour of your choice.
Although some people don't like have blush on them cause they think it makes them look like chinese opera, I'd have to say from my many years of make up research that a tiny pinch of blush will actually make your face look brigher, more awake, and gives "tone" to it.
Any blusher will do- I don't really have a one I like cause I find them all to be almost the same. But I recommend using a matte blush for a simple everyday look.
Blushes can be divided into different tones- Pink, Peach, and Taupe.
Pink blushes are used to create the more cutey jap girl huge eyes dolly kinda look
where as peach is more natural and high fashioned.
Taupe/Bronzer -used for contouring your face to make your face look smaller.
For now, I have been using my MAC's blush in Peach.
Step 5- Apply a thin layer of eyeliner to define your eyes.
Eyeliner comes in pencil, gel, and liquid form and I actually use all of them! Sometimes even all at once!
Start by applying a thin line with an eyeliner pencil/gel liner
I usually use Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner- so far the best pencil eyeliner I've used. Cheap,Not much smudges, long staying power, no need to sharpen.
But now I've invested in Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner because it provides me with a much thinner, precise, and dark line. The only bad side to this is that it is very creamy and smudges quite easily.
That' why, it's important to top up the gel/pencil eyeliner with either a liquid eyeliner or some dark brown powdered shadow.
I like applying medium blue shadows now as blue shadows helps to enhance our black/brown Asian eyes and somewhat make them look bigger and less gothic like black.
One good tip to note is when applying eyeliner on your waterline (underneath), don't use black eyeliner as it is too harsh for an everyday look. A brown eyeliner would be good. Apply some white eyeliner to the inner corners of your eyes to brighten them a lil.
And that is it! Five simple steps to Glozdaddy's Everyday Make Up look.
I am so made to be a makeup artist or seller.
