New Phone!

I bought a new phoneeee...i'm so happy! woohoo

Well not exactly "bought" but yeah i'm on a new plan now. With a life filled with sooooo many activities now, I needed a smart phone/Pda to keep me organised.

So happened three is offering the E65 handset for free when I go on the 29 cap plan- why not?

Pay $29 a month and get $120 worth of calls.

I now have THREE phones and numbers with me lol.

An optus, A three, and A virgin.

My new 3 mobile number is 0430071202

Now quickly save it to your phone, and if you ever wanna contact me, call or sms that number! (then i get to use my new phone more often hehehe)

Btw this E65 can read my sms'es for me so I don't have to read it! It's pretty cool! so yeah send more sms'es to me!

Sigh I have been working NON-STOP this whole week, (even full days on sunday), and i'm not only super duper extremely tired, I still have ALOT of readings to do. I also have to learn up all hiragana by TONIGHT. oh man i'm not even close to learning half of it. I keep on forgetting- they all look the same to me.Grrrrrrr....the bad thing is that I've got two tutes tmr morning so i HAVE to do my other commerce readings by tonight. The worst thing? I can't even keep my eyes open! My eyes were half closed during alpha video today.

I'm now relying on Raymond Lam's voice to keep me awake....*blinkblink*

First Day of Uni

meant to be : 1 hour Japanese lecture from 11am-12am

Ended up : half an hour lecture from 11.05-11.35 with the lecturer not preparing her slides properly and had to waste alot of time searching for stuff, so in conclusion, I've only had about 15 minutes of lesson today. Learnt nothing. Oh yes the only thing was how to pronounce a e i o u.

Worked extra hours from 12-6 today, my feet became reaaaally sore after that. Starting to think whether I can cope working and studying at the same time. Everyday I finish uni at 1, and work from 2-6, by the time I tram home, dinner, tv etc, there's actually not much time for me to study. Sigh what should i do?

Oh yeah also today at work, this homeless old lady came in, she was sooooo scary, she spoke SOOOO loud, and pretended that she wanted to buy something so she could get some samples back to use. She told me to put on the cleaner, toner, and moisturiser all on one cotton wool so she could just wipe it all on her face. Then later on she came back again to ask for a mask. It was sad to see like an extreeeeme homeless person but then at the same time it was quite scared too. She looked abit like Hermit the old pedifile from Family guy.

Went to the Motor Show yesterday! Saw the fastest car in the world! Will post more pictures in a few days time.

GELATO-GELATI IS BACK...AGAIN

Due to numerous requests, I've decided to resuscitate and reopen my blog again.

I shall start the new year, my new post with some questions and answers.

Q: Silly girl, why haven't you been blogging for like..MORE THAN A MONTH?

A: Well it's because I've alwaaaaaays wanted to blog about my europe pics, and as most of you know, I took like more than 4GB of pictures when I was back there. and honestly, even till TODAY, I haven't really taken a full look on those pictures yet. Why? cause -

there are just tooooooo many pictures to look at and after a while you'll just get bored of it. Even if I looked at it, I was just scrolling through it pressing the right arrow button one after another. I attempted to pick the best pictures of each countries to blog but in the end, I failed. Why?cause

THERE ARE TOO MANY PICTURES FOR ME TO COMPRESS. And obviously I can't just upload the original file because each picture is like 1500KB or more and it'll take too long to load. So in the end, two answers for the question = lazy + long.

Q: You're such a lazy pig. So I guess you've been just laying around all day doing nothing during the holidays?

A: well not really, ever since I came back, I started handing resumes to all shops in box hill and westfield, after a week, no news. So I decided to try out Melbourne Central. And obviously, my first priority would be a MAKE UP SHOP! and God knows me best to give me the job two hours after I handed in the resume to my boss. And yes I've been working in the Face Shop for a month now. I really enjoy my work. It just doesn't feel like i'm doing the same thing over and over everyday. Everyday different ppl will come in and ask different questions about make up or skin care products, and as usual I really enjoy putting on make up for ppl and selling it to them. I think I look forward to go to work more than I look forward to go study methods or chemistry back in BHS.

Q: Well no more BHS for you anyway! Which Uni and what course are you doing now?

A: I got into the Course that I've always wanted since Year 9- Commerce in Uni Melb double major accouting and finance.

For the past few weeks I haven't really got into the "excitement" of starting a whole new uni life cause the routine of my life was just wake up- work -practice driving- dinner- study japanese- watch canto shows-sleep. But after O Week and buying all of my uni books, I am actually getting very excited to start uni next week. I've been looking through all my accounting and economics textbooks and besides the probability bit, everything looked so interesting and fun and man I really can't wait to learn all of it. And yes talking about Japanese, I decided to pick it up cause I really wanted to learn a new language. Being a multilingual person myself, there is no doubt on my interest in learning new languages. It was a choice between Jap and French, and after many advices, I decided to pick up Japanese first and maybe French in a few years time IF Jap goes well.

Q: Have you started learning Japanese then? Do you enjoy it

Yes this sounds silly but I've been trying to learn Japanese through YOUTUBE. There's this reaaaally good japanese learning program called "Let's learn Japanese Basic" that teaches you how to both speak and write japanese. Although it's like a reaaaaaally old program from the 80s, it's still very usefull as they teach you in a way where if you know the structure, you'll be able to ask any questions you want.

Q: So update us with more things!

A : Basically, within this month, I

1. found a job
2. cut my hair
3. made new friends
4. learn jap

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Greetings from Germany!!!

wow wow it's nearly the end of my trip now...i've taken like millions of pictures now (had to actually buy one more 2GB memory card) I really want to upload those pictures now but then this stupid computer in this hotel doesn't locked up their cpu thingy so BOO.

Oh well, I'll start uploading it when i get to london in a few days time or when i'm in malaysia in about 2 weeks time. Alright ...just an update...

Day1- London
It's my 2nd time in London now!
The tour hasn't started yet...so my oldest sister was our so called "tour leader" of the day. We took tubes (trains) everywhere to see the good old tourist attractions like big ban, castles, and did some shopping too!

What did I buy? - Nothing! (surprise hey)

Day 2- Paris
This is the day where my tour officially started.. Woke up at 4am...There are 45 people in my tour group..all from different countries...USA, Australia, South Africa and Canada...First day is always quite werid..people think we're non english speaking people from China...but bleh when I start talking they'll know that i'm a true malaysian!

Our tour leader's name is Victor- He talks soooooo much in the bus- This history that history... I couldn't sleep at all...being in a tour is quite bad...unlike schooling, I have to wake up at 6am everyday...listen to sooo many instructions...where to meet what time to meet...feels like school...and when we don't do the right thing..he (the tour leader) gets angry and actually tells us off

Anyway, it was new year's eve and I went to the eiffel tower at night..it was greeat..the lightings comes out at 9am, just like those christmas tree lights.....took sooo many pictures...even took one for my softtoy..lol

I know NOTHING about european histroy...absolutely nothing..but after this trip...I kinda have an idea now..at least I'll see Napolean as a great king in France but not as my make up brand now..LOL....

Man after going to paris, I've decided that Paris is going to be one of my choice for honeymoon!
and when guys speak french..they naturally look very romantic and nice..so even if i'm not a guy..I think i'll start taking french lessons once i go back! (oo aand i want to learn japanese too..anyone wants to learn with me?)

Oh yeah I went to see Moulin Rouge today...seriously they dance naked (well topless) in almost every single scene...guys you'll love this...for me...yeah..I enjoy the dancing..the culture..and also it's actually the first time where there are like 50 boobs of different sizes infront of me...great explore...especially those with fake ones...i feel like laughing...nah but seriously even gay guys will turn straight after watching this..

Day3- Christmas in Paris!
Went to the eiffel tower agaaaain....but this time I actually went all the way up to see the whole of france...it like a dream...maaan..i seriously hope i can start posting pictures up now...it doesn't sound nice when there's no pictures on my blog- and what? how can there be no pictures in gelato-gelati...it's usually pictures more than words!lol

Didn't shop at all so money spent in Paris= $O

Day4 Switz
Went up to the alps....it was sooo beautiful..had snow everywhere...took great pictures..had great exercise climbing up the mountains as well!
People say yeah yeah this is the place to get watches cause most of them are manufactured from here but oh please it's a waste of time...you can get the same thing with the same price in Australia...but my mum bought a CK watch just for the sake of getting it cause her old watch ran out of battery but oh well so long she's happy.

I HAD to spend money in switz cause I ran out of memory space on my camera after 4 days...

so money spent so far= $50

Day 5- Milan
Milan..the shoppnig paradise! sounds like a place where gloria will have lots of fun in...but NO...we were only given like 50 minutes to shop and bleh dad decided to buy mum a gucci bag and sister bought a wallet for herself but seriously all these shops here are sooooo unaffordable for me...

Money spent in Milan= $0

Day 6+7 - Rome
Rome is one of the most boring place ...for me... Besides Michelangelo.. I didn't really enjoy the romans history/ancient buildings there...and why? cause I didn't pay attention in Year 8 history class lol..i had mrs warmsely okay..

Went to the sisten chapel which was greaaaat...Michelangelo is just soooo talented...the V something musuem was..."okay"...and the colesium just makes me feel like watching gladiator again! Went to this underground 2AD tomb which was quite scary..

and lastly went to trevi fountain and made a wisssssh!

Had a pizza party dinner today with italian musicians around... it was a great party cause this is where i got to know those people much better...and after 2 hours...we became great friends!

and yay I finally bought an affodable brandless handbag from rome!

Money spent in Rome- $30

Day 8- Florence
I"LL NEVER GO BACK TO FLORENCE FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE...CAUSE GUESS WHAT HAPPENED HERE? I GOT PICKEDPOCKET! SERIOUSLY I WAS SO PISSED OFF...ABOUT 200-300 BUX GONE....(dw pris even if your money is gone i'll still get you your foundation) CREDIT CARD GONE, ATM CARD GONE, DRIVING LICENSE GONE OMGOSH I CAN'T BELIEVE IT... I WAS SO ANGRY BECAUSE I'VE BEEN SO CAUTIOUS WITH MY BAG THROUGHOUT ITALY, I NEVER OPENED MY BAG (besides taking my camera out) AND I ACTUALLY "SANDWICHED" MY BAG SO TIGHTLY IN BETWEEN MY ARMPIT..WATCHING EVERYWHERE BUT STILL I'M THE UNLUCKY ONE ...STUPID PEOPLE. BLEH I WAS JUST SO ANGRY THAT DAY.

money left= $0

Day 9- Venice
After that incident...I was jut so moody in the morning...not wanting to do anything...but after steping in to venice..I started smiling again...it gives me this peaceful feeling ( i was in a small town called burano with only 1500 living in there).... with all my money gone..i could only afford to get myself some murino glass jeweleries with 15 euro in my pocket...

Sat on the gondola at night... it feels soooo romantic...with music and everything ...man Venice is another place for my honeymoon.

Spent new years eve in Venice...and because as everyone know that their main transportation is boat and ferry...we couldn't get to the city area for countdown...

but stayed up to party, countdown with my new tour friends from all around the world..they're all about the same age so it was great! Glad I made so many new friends here... This was also the day which I drank my first full glass of alcohol! and why? It was just a coctail...and it was sweet....but my throat started burning after that..

Day 10- Austria and Germany
This is where I am now- Germany. Stopped by Austria for a couple of hours to see the snow and sat on a horse carriage ... Going to continue my germany trip tomorrow...and because gladys is nagging at me now..I have to go.

More news and pictures to come!

Happy new year to all!

and xinni, happy birthday for yesterday just in case you didn't get my sms (have fun in Hong kong man! you'll be shopping much more than me here lol )

I'll be back real soon, will post up some pictures on facebook later too.

Another 3 more days and there comese to the end of my trip, will be going to spain and london alone as a family, and WOO HOO SINGAPORE NEXT! can't wait to go singapore to buy shoooes...and most importantly...affordable shoes!

Really miss you all,
love,
glo with an empty pocket. =(
