New Home, New Day, New Life

Welcome to my first post at Docklands, or technically speaking, Yarra Edge.

In this post I will talk a bit about my new house and also about my hometown Balwyn as promised.

I moved into Yarra Edge 2 days ago and surprisingly, I know how to drive from Balwyn to Docklands now (due to my awesome GPS and studying of google maps) but still don't know how to drive from Docklands to Balwyn (will do that this Sunday- if I don't turn up to church make sure you call the police and tell them your friend is stuck at "ab* drive"

Insider jokes aside, to my blog readers, my new address is

54, South Wharf Drive,
Docklands, 3008
VIC

No point trying to search it on your GPS because you won't find it.

If you guys ever want to come and visit me, please type in

99 Lorimer Street on your GPS/Map

That's where Subaru dealer is so once you see that turn right into Foundry Way then left into South Wharf Drive which is my house.

Location : About 1 minute drive from DFO South Wharf and 3 minutes from Etihad Stadium

So far do I like it? Yes it's a nice looking modern house and so far been leaving pretty comfortable in here.

Now time for my memories at Balwyn

Balwyn, my dear Balwyn house, we bought you over the internet 10 years ago in Malaysia, not even being there to see you for auction, we trusted God, and He provided us with such a special house.

You looked so good, my room was initially small, but luckily my never to be seen sister moved out and I finally got a bigger room. You were white, then my parents decided to make you brown. You were opened to the street, and my parents decided to fence you up. you had a bigger garden, and then my parents decided to build a deck on you. Oh well, you still ended up looking really pretty.

You were close to many places. Because of you, I could wake up only 10 minutes before school and still get to school on time. Because of you, I could always just leave my house 2 minutes before church starts and reach to church 1 minute late given that I drive 70km/h on Belmore Road. Whenever i'm hungry, I can just walk out to Kunyit and Red Lattern to get food. Whenever I feel like baking but don't have ingredients, Coles is just 5 minutes away from me. When I thought that my car ran out of battery but actually it was out of petrol, I could just call emergency 0411449226 and he came straight away to save me. Whenever I feel unfit, gym is just 7 minutes away from me.

Balwyn, eventhough I've only driven within Belmore Road, Greythorn Road, Doncaster Road, Whitehorse Road, and Highland Avenue, but I really do cherish the moments we have together.

I spent nearly half my life at Balwyn, and now eventhough I am a stranded city girl, I will miss you always.
